A long time resident
of Sarasota, Florida, Katherine Clements, N.D., L.M.T. received
her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University
in Seattle, Washington and retains her license as a naturopathic
physician in the state of Oregon, where she is considered
a primary care physician. She received her degree in massage
therapy from Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle and is
a licensed massage therapist in the state of Florida. Dr.
Clements has specialized training in homeopathy, chronic fatigue
syndrome, counseling, craniosacral, pregnancy massage, autism
and ADD, chelation, and detoxification. Her undergraduate
degree is in environmental studies from University of Buffalo.
After
completing her doctorate and a one year residency in family
medicine in Orlando, Florida, she is delighted to bring her
practice to Sarasota; offering our community a unique opportunity
in natural healthcare.
Prior
to attaining her doctorate, Dr. Clements taught programs in
environmental education and wilderness survival. She continues
to share her love of nature and education as an adjunct professor
in the Alternative Medicine program at Everglades University
in Sarasota and as a volunteer in the Florida State Park System.
Dr. Clements is a strong advocate for naturopathic licensure,
patient's rights, children's health, and the environment.
